Melville McLean

There are three themes at the heart of my work that I consider deep, profoundly resonant, and enduring truths. The first is the fundamental fact that all life is fragile, brief, and contingent. Secondly, nothing survives alone. Lastly, I believe that the best of my photographs can demonstrate and celebrate life surviving and thriving against all odds.
